1. Receiving inspiration from the spiritual guidance of His Holiness Dr Athavale
In February 2017, I met His Holiness Dr Athavale for the first time and it was a life-changing experience. I could feel strong energy emanating from Him while He spoke.
There was a sense of beauty in the way He shared guidance, and His words were profound and full of spiritual wisdom. Then He said these words that filled me with inspiration, “The real world is the spiritual world, it is greater than what we can understand. Let us set goals to progress spiritually.”
During the satsang, I felt a protective sheath form around my head, all of my thoughts disappeared and I experienced spiritual emotion. This state lasted for many hours after meeting Him.
I am grateful to God for this satsang of His Holiness Dr. Athavale and His Divine guidance. I pray that His guidance helps me to become better each day and move forward in my spiritual journey.
Editor’s note : When a Saint or a Guru of a higher level such as His Holiness Dr Athavale shares spiritual guidance, there is a high level of Divine consciousness (Chaitanya) in Their speech.
This is because Gurus have put into practice and experienced the results of guidance being shared. Also due to the spiritual level of Gurus being above 70%, They are able to access the Universal Mind so there is a flow of Divine consciousness from God going to those listening to Their speech. This Divine consciousness positively impacts listeners and they can perceive something unique about Their speech. The words that are spoken by Gurus are imbibed at a subconscious level by listeners.
This is in contrast with inspirational speakers who may impress an audience at a psychological level, but do not have Divine consciousness in their speech. As a result, listening to them may not result in the listener making lasting changes in their lives.
