What is the spiritual technique of 'nyaas' ?
Nyaas is the focussing of energy flow through the medium of the fingers joined together at the tips. The position of nyaas, is the position where we have to focus our spiritual energy by placing our bunched fingers when chanting.
1. Focussing of energy flow in one position (centre of Kundalini):
For example, if the remedy was to do nyaas on the Aadnyaa chakra (the energy centre in the mid-brow region) it would look like this.

2. Focussing of energy flow in two positions (centres of Kundalini):
If the remedy was to do nyaas on the Aadnyaa chakra (the energy centre in the mid-brow region) and the Anaahat chakra (the energy centre in the Heart region) it would look like this.

Mechanism behind the action of Nyaas
Nyaas should always be accompanied by chanting. By chanting we imbibe divine energy of the aspect of God Whose Name we chant. By doing nyaas, we channelise the divine energy derived from the chanting to that particular spiritual energy centre. By doing so, that energy is dispersed to the organs in that area.
